 Welcome to Just Paradise Publishing. It’s been ten years since Janet and I said “I Do” on Neptune Beach in front of Larry’s place. It doesn’t seem possible. The years have just flown by. I guess it’s because we start each day with the attitude that it will be just another day in paradise.
To celebrate this special anniversary we’ve decided to launch our very own clothing line, and as you’ve probably guessed, there will be plenty of tropical colors, palm trees and positive thoughts in every product. Which presents us with our very first challenge.
Design a T-shirt? No Problem!
 A chance meeting with artist T. Horn at St. Petersburg’s famous Saturday Morning Market convinced us to move forward with this new adventure, but we never imagined how challenging it would be to choose our first commemorative shirt. Terry has been a South Florida artist for more than four decades. With over a hundred designs to choose from, we knew it was going to be just another long day in paradise. We whittled it down to around a dozen designs, but then we got stuck.
1st Annual JADIP Design Contest
Quite simply, we needed help. So Janet and I sponsored our first JADIP Design Contest. We let everyone we knew view all the designs then submit a contest entry to choose our first design. We announced the winner during happy hour at the Wharf Restaurant in historic Pass-a-Grille, Florida.

Promise for a Bright Future
Our wedding vows included Janet’s promise to always be spontaneous and I vowed to always have a backup plan. We are not sure where this road leads, but we hope you’ll consider sharing this adventure with us.
So let’s raise a glass to celebrate this new beginning with our favorite toast.
